Murder more journalist than ww2+ww1 = “seems good”

What a joke of Western propaganda this map is.

Israel being yellow while openly murdering journalists (A LOT of them) is saying everything you need to know about how trustworthy this report is.

Oh hey, it’s the same map, for seemingly everything. “Freedom” in this case largely coincides with the freedom of the wealthy to influence and buy the press and spread their messaging.

There is…not a lot of green on that map. 😬

You know everyone talks about press freedom, no one talks about how the press got us to this point by just creating lots of sensational news for views. Or not covering things with the necessary context, and end of the day playing into the states agenda at best or creating their own narratives at worst. Is there such a thing as independent media, at the scales of a MSNBC, CNN or FOX? Also most of the press in the US is owned by some billionaire, how does that factor into this?
