I don’t care that it beeps when it’s done. I care that it has a reminder beep every couple of minutes after. Not loud enough to wake me if I fell asleep, but loud enough if I’m stuck on the couch to hear it and be annoyed. I get it! My tea is cooling. I’ll come get it when the cat gets up. And the fact that it doesn’t do it once to remind you, or even a few times… It will literally beep every 2 minutes UNTIL THE END OF THE UNIVERSE. Does anyone want this feature!?
But then when you finally get up it’s not hot enough and the cycle continues

Most modern microwaves have a silent mode. Try holding down the 2 button until it beeps.
There was an observatory that was picking up these mysterious spikes in radiation that they couldn’t explain. They thought it might be something new but couldn’t see any events on other spectrums that would go along with this random event.
Eventually they figured out that the spikes were caused by people opening the microwave in the break room while it was still going.
So I don’t do that anymore after hearing that story.
Yup. I didn’t realize that happened until a few times I would be making something with my wireless headset on and it would get very crackly when I opened the door.
my microwave beeps if you hit the cancel button. it makes me avoid using it.
