Isn’t it more human trafficking than deportation if they kidnapped her in international waters and moved her to a different country?

I’m not positive, but i believe the majority of their support team was in Paris so I’d guess that’s why. Apparently they were given a choice between deportation and a trial and some of them basically had to be convinced to choose deportation so they could speak about their experiences.

In the interview, she is asked about the other crew members. She states that she hasn’t been able to get into contact as they were put into individual cells, and the crew wasn’t given the proper freedom to fully communicate with lawyers. This is not over. They merely release Greta first because she has a platform. She speaks into further detail about this in the interview, so I highly advise you watch it.
