    Sure, you can buy Windows 11 Pro and follow these steps, or just install any modern Linux distro and tick the box “encrypt disk” in the installer.

      This has been the real answer to every “how to do this thing that windows fucks up” article I’ve seen for years now. People need to start writing articles that start with “how to switch to linux” and leave the workaround as a last resort.

    jokes on them i’m already on linux (been since 2018). Failing that i’d honestly use veracrypt, just so that the key is with you and only you, but considering how invasive MS is with their copilot idk if i would really trust them not seeing anything.
