Never thought about this before, but if China was going to start shit they’re getting a really good look at US capabilities right now with little risk other than market disruption.

Honestly, I think China is probably thinking they vastly overestimated the US.

If Iran is outproducing the US and most of NATO, China could run circles around them.

Indeed, a lot of the US capabilities and limitations are being revealed now. I’d also be shocked if China wasn’t quietly testing stuff like radars in Iran to see if they can detect US stealth jets for example.

It seams like the US isn’t interested in winning wars, they just like starting them and then extending them for as long as possible.

The way that normally works is that the US will isolate a country that can’t fight back and then commit war crimes there for decades because it’s a good profit vehicle for the military industry. They control the level of escalation, and they’re able to turn heat up when they want or to cool things down when they need to.

The difference with Iran is that it’s not isolated, and it’s able to fight back in a meaningful way. The US does not have escalatory dominance in this conflict. And that’s a whole new development for the burger reich.

Call me crazy but maybe it was just a test if Iran have those missiles they claim they have.

Iran claims to have operational hypersonic missiles (Fattah-1, Khorramshahr-4) capable of Mach 15.

    https://nationalsecurityjournal.org/irans-hypersonic-missiles-summed-up-in-4-words/

This is 18376 km / h flying on < 100km orbit. You need some kind of radar mesh to detect that but even if you have one there is probably 1 minute left for reaction. Only skynet level defense can do it.
