They need to clear a path so they can reliably bomb Israel. There’s too many interceptors in the way.
There has been no significant impact so far, the reporter’s X post said, adding that nearly all incoming missiles “have been intercepted at this point.”
Reeeeally??? Why do I get the feeling that this isn’t true?? lol
In a month or two we find out the base has been flattened.
Just some random laundry fires 🤷
Exactly, laundry will catch fire and the base will be de-activated for maintenance in the next 50 years.
Even we if consider “nearly all” as true (big if) they deliberately omit how much damage the ones that did get through did. “No signficant impact” means they admit there has been an impact that they would like to downplay the signifcance.
Yup. Several months back, there was an article that stated that a helicopter and other aircraft “sustained some damage”, with similar words of a minimizing effect, in one of the bases. When soldiers leaked images, the damned chopper in question was obliterated, nastily split in two, left beyond any possibility of salvage.
The famous image was of an E-3 Sentry Aircraft, if that’s the one you’re thinking of.

Holy moly, seeing it again, it’s in worse shape than my memory served lol and it wasn’t even a helo either, ha! 😅
‘nearly’ is probably doing some lifting out of its weight class
