Here’s the thing though. I, the village idiot, knew since the beginning that Ukraine would never inducted into NATO. This became even clearer to me when after the first few months the tried and true combination of nazis and wunderwaffens did not work the way they had hoped it would and publicly claimed it did. I can’t bring myself to believe that Zelenskyy at any point thought being in NATO was on the table. He was probably caught between his American masters and the rabid Nazi dogs. If he had earnestly tried to sign a peace agreement he would have likely been assassinated.

This is not to say that he is blameless but coming at this from the angle of Zelenskyy being tricked is not coherent because it disregards why the war happened and who dragged it on for so long.

Their takeaway is probably going to be “we should have been more of rabid unrepentant warmongerers and fielded US troops and instated no fly zone”

This could be useful to me. A while ago I was trying to make something that take all unread posts from my feed reader, make an epub out of them and then put it behind an OPDS server.

I found converting HTML from RSS to first markdown and then compiling them to an epub the most reliable way to take out the unnecessary markup from the source HTML. I used pandoc for this.

How do the SaaS AI code assistants work? I am guessing they have to send the entire file or the codebase to their datacenter. Won’t this be a problem for corporations who want to protect their codebase?
