They literally admit to voting for genocide because in some weird dimension it’s less genocide than if the republicans did it. Your brain on liberalism. Gross

The funniest part is that it doesn’t even mention the democratic party. It could just as well have been about all those republican chuds who say they’re apolitical, but these nazi lemmitors just cant help telling on themselves

I see a lot of “leftists don’t even care about Palestinians! They just secretly want trump to win! Who cares about a couple people on the other side of the planet? Vote blue no matter who!” on .world and its truly sickening watching these right wing chuds do their vice signalling so they can keep getting their treats.

I am willing to rank democrats last with my transferable vote. Are democrats interested in getting this vote?

Shouldn’t democrats be doing everything they can to get every vote they can in this self proclaimed existential crisis?

Gang, this isn’t complicated. We have a de facto two party system. On election day your choices are: A. Evil, B. Lesser Evil, or C. Don’t vote / wasted vote. That’s the way the system works. Systems can change. If you don’t like the existing system, work to change it instead of just showing up on election day to make a futile gesture. Alaska this year might be a prime opportunity to get wider support for ranked choice voting if played right. You can also show up for primary season to get the Lesser Evil even less evil.

Bro do you not understand basic logic after years and years of voting lesser evil you will still end up with straight up evil, never actually fixing root problems just pushing them off until tomorrow. Unless you have the brain of an earthworm no one takes “lesser evil” rhetoric seriously anymore. That shit is stupid.

No, you don’t get how elections work. If they can support genocide and ICE and building the wall and, and, and… but because they are more competent and polite than Trump, they are lesser evil. And they should be able to take votes for granted for everyone that isn’t “moderate Republicans” and those are the only ones that they should appeal to, everyone else is just expected to have blind loyalty to the Party in terms of “vote blue no matter who” then they have no incentive at all not to just make every evil the Republicans do bipartisan and just keep moving right and enabling the Republicans like they have done for the last 30 years, at least. If there is supposed to be nothing they should lose my vote for, there is nothing they wont do.

This post is just a circlejerk to make you (the community in general) feel better. It’s not centrist or far-right to reasonably think third parties have little chance in national elections. Start with your local elections and get progessives in or even run yourself if you care so much.

We believe in organizing as the primary means of achieving change, voting is just a very small part of what we do, but if these politicians want our votes shouldn’t they appeal to us? Our comrades in the US have a simple demand, no more genocide, no more wars, you don’t give us that much, you don’t get our vote. Or, if we’re so insignificant we can be ignored, then don’t removed about us not voting for you when you lose. Either way, it seems like being 99% hitler as opposed to 100% hitler isn’t good enough to win elections anymore, and that’s a good thing.

Absolutely. That’s why I include voting in primaries. I’d rather us have 0% hitler. But when the two choices (in practice) are 100% hitler and 99% hitler, I’d still prefer to have 1% less hitler. And it shouldn’t mark someone as 100% hitler to feel that way.

Voting to stop 1 genocide is a problem? Impact > Intent. If the intent of your vote is to punish some person or party and the impact of that choice is worse, that’s a problem.

This changes everything. When a broken, antihuman ideology and the unstoppable march of time put you on a trajectory of becoming more identical to the nazis with every passing day, what do you do?

Do you face the ugly truth that a bunch of rich pedophiles lied to you as a child about how our world works and used your cooperation to pursue their own agenda, and move forward from there? Or do you retreat into denial, back into the cycle of the addict to delay contact with the cold metal of reality? We, communists, aren’t your enemy. We’re you from the future, and we’re running out of time to bring you to your senses. While you line up to vote for 99% Hitler, both parties shake hands to build a camp for you.

It still shows a complete lack of solidarity with the rest of marginalized people, including those being ethnically cleansed inside the US, and to those being bombed, droned, sanctioned, starved, etc abroad. Sanders is a liberal Zionist, AOC is pro-imperialism in Latin America, and even Mamdani conceded a lot of nonsense to the right, even agreeing with gusanos that Cuba and Venezuela are dictatorships, doing his part in normalizing the atrocities we see now there by the US government. Mamdani is the best of the bunch by far and he’s still bad to us.
