but the CIA got him.

This is a LARP. It’s fine to have hobbies. It just shouldn’t be taken as truth and posted as news.
This fake government levies what they call the chatrel tax from all Tibetans except nobody has to pay it obviously. But from the language you’d think it’d be illegal not to. https://tibet.net/support-tibet/pay-green-book/ It also gives you a ‘green book’ which serves as your fake fantasy passport, because citizenship is granted on your ability to pay taxes apparently.
I figured that might be the case 🤦♂️ indian outlets at the top of search results usually seem to be.
Settler-colonies recognize each other
I don’t know, I just find it funny that you care so much about this. It’s just lemmy.
What’s the difference between an opinion section and what you deem “speculative conspiracy theories”?
As a matter of fact what’s the difference between their front page news and the NYT directly quoting Bush making the case to go to war with Iraq? Weren’t they also passing off speculative (Saddam was responsible for 9/11) conspiracy theories (Iraq had WMDs) as News?
Or is the problem that they are more famous than me thus their opinion is worth more than mine?
You didn’t answer any of my questions and your hostility is more funny than anything. Do you also get this kneejerk reaction when the NYT or the Guardian publish an opinion piece calling to bomb Iran? Because these count as news, they’re published in real newspapers after all!
Isn’t it world news that “Israel” attacked Lebanon twice with compromised pagers, or do articles have to come from state-approved sources to be considered news?
This is a self-promoting opinion piece boring on conspiracy theory.
What makes you say “conspiracy theory” exactly?
Oh, they believe in very material things. They believe in settling land and using the native population as slave labor, for example. I wrote about this before
The point is that you are unwilling to even engage with the idea that Russia seeks to eliminate Ukrainian identity
Is that like a litmus test? Next time I’m ordering pizza I’ll ask the restaurant if they are willing to engage with the idea that Russia seeks to eliminate Ukrainian identity.
Literally no idea why you brought that up again lol
Can you point to genocide denial before you make sweeping accusations?
I hope Russia invades your house. Not your country or neighbourhood, but just your house specifically.
There’s already a middle ground, it’s the federal minimum wage (I assume US) that hasn’t moved for 20+ years
like the right doesn’t want there to be a minimum wage. They have a whole body of theory for why the minimum wage should be abolished. They want there to be 0 minimum wage.
lmao okay defend the Ayn Rand libertarian website if you want, what do you want me to tell you?

Are you white and male by chance?
Wikipedia is not volunteer run… They’re using language to make it seem like it’s a little website with a dream being bullied by the mean Russians. Wikipedia is run by its administrators, who do not let anyone else encroach on their power. 3 editors are responsible for most edits (I want to say 90%). Famously there is one editor that edits from 6 am to 10pm every day without fail (mostly pro war edits) , and the most prolific editor worked as a TSA and ICE agent terrorizing migrants.
Wikipedia is not a source bruh. In the introductory paragraph on the uyghur genocide article they say that thousands of mosques have been destroyed… But don’t mention they have been rebuilt to accommodate more people or because they weren’t up to code. There are more mosques in Xinjiang alone in 2021 than there are in all of Europe lol.
Wikipedia has a clear agenda and this is clear from looking at their board of directors and demographics. They are not a source and neither are their sources - - they are carefully curated to offer a specific analysis.
Shows that this is nothing new and not even that long ago either
