I didn’t mean the show “drags” as in gets boring, but that the show seemed like “a drag” as in joyless and dire in tone. I got a good bit of stress in my life at the moment and AoT didn’t seem like what I need right now, I’m sure it’s great and I’ll get to it eventually.

Where I really enjoyed “Chainsaw Man” because it has serious bits where characters die and tragic backstories are revealed but, the main characters only motivation at one point is to touch someone’s boobs. I can appreciate the meta commentary and themes the creater is trying to get across but, there’s also a scene where someone gets kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

  • I think that’s key to the success of future superhero movies. Deadpool is a R-Rated comedy, which gives Deadpool some novelty and keeps his character feeling fresh. Winter Soldier was a spy thriller, there was that X-men horror movie a few years ago (IDK if it’s good, never saw it), the new joker movie is apparently a musical.

These are all different genres just with a superhero filter over them. The problem with the MCU as a whole is that they all feel the same and all the characters feel the same.

  • uxury apartments in premium locations is the first thing I would think of too if I were a developer, but their target buyers don’t sound like the sort of people who currently suffer from the housing crisis.

It’ll have a domino effect, more apartments in Manhattan means less people in Brooklyn, Queens, etc. meaning prices go down in the latter boroughs. I live in Jersey City across the Hudson from Manhattan and a large part of the residents here are just people who can’t afford to live in Manhattan.

are many people going to want to live in expensive converted office spaces if they don’t work near there any longer?

Yes, I used to live in a converted office building in Newark NJ (not far from Manhattan) and really loved it. And yes people will always want to live in NYC and especially Manhattan. Many people, myself included simply prefer living in cities. I’ve also looked for apartments in Manhattan and it’s completely different than anywhere else.
