Poor Little Things in the theater
Before you ask, the accent varies based on diet.
Poor Little Things in the theater
I don’t mind them as a concept, but not all gameshows are created equal.
Don’t, for example, is hilarious.
Deal or No Deal is just kind of boring and tedious.
Seriously? A billion???
Immediately remove the battery/power, then use a bunch of silica gel packs that have been dried out instead of rice: They’re commonly available and won’t get into things and cause problems down the road. Alternately, just take it apart as much as you can and set it in front of a fan to dry out.
Keep in mind, it might be too late but it’s worth a try.
If you really want to try and save it and are tech savvy, try tearing it down and giving it an isopropyl alcohol bath but if you aren’t, it’ll do more harm than good. Keep in mind ISO can damage some parts.
The US is not a signatory to the ICC, is it?
In fact, I believe the planned response to such an arrest is to actually storm the Hague and retrieve the American.
Point is, I don’t think the US government is too worried about it.
Mods can’t ban you from an instance, only a community, but the only suggestion I would have is just don’t go to their communities?
No way, this demands shitty flute!
I’m not even math but I still think it looks cool.
Other countries doing bad shit does not make it OK: It’s all bad and everyone needs to cut this shit out collectively. Just because another country did something doesn’t mean another should be immune to criticism.
Weird, I got a message that it was removed for supposedly violating rule 1.
Anyhow, as I previously mentioned, the illegal fishing at a global scale is a fine place to start but let’s not pretend like China isn’t guilty of all the same environmental sins as the US. It’s bad when China does it, it’s bad when the US does it, nobody should use the excuse of, “Oh, well this country does it, so that magically makes it ok”
The US and China have both punished some companies, but there are plenty who went unpunished for some pretty egregious stuff in both countries (along with other countries, this is a global problem). Whataboutism doesn’t address the issue and neither country should be enabling the destruction of our environment.
They are not the only ones investing in renewable energy. It’s good that they are, but that does not undo the many environmental disasters they have created in the pursuit of greed. Before you bring up another country or corporation doing it, it should be noted that it’s wrong when anyone does it, full stop.
Wow, and the original comment was removed, nice censorship.

Title gore…
Yeah, aside from riding my bike, I would hardly call myself active but I sure as hell walk waaaay more than that. Even if I was above average (doubtful), these numbers seem off, especially for back then. With all sorts of delivery and micromobility devices these days, I figure we’re walking even less than we did in the 90s but still more than 1.4 miles per week (you could easily walk that without even leaving a building)
These numbers seem way too low, 1.4 miles a week??? Even in 2024 where we have more means of transport than ever, I still walk more than that every day!
You rang?
A lot of it is, but it can be for practical reasons like range ammo or self defense rounds where you really wouldn’t want to use rounds meant to stop a grizzly bear (like 200 gr hardcast lead) on a human attacker because it would zip right through them and hit an unintended target. A jacketed hollowpoint that isn’t going quite as fast will still stop a person, and the recoil will be lessened.
Same for range ammo: If you’re doing drills it would be very expensive to use something like Underwood or Buffalo Bore every time, so people use less expensive ammo instead. Shooting hundreds or even thousands of rounds will also beat you up a lot more with the heavier rounds with more force behind them.
For anyone considering 10mm for back country carry: It’s still a good idea to get some practice in with the rounds you’d actually carry on the trail because shot placement is pretty damn important if you’re trying to stop a grizzly bear - you need to be able to handle follow up shots with the extra recoil or you’re way better off just carrying bear spray and bear bangers.
Carrying a firearm without adequate training is way, waaaay more dangerous to everyone than any grizzly bear. Also, even if you are trained and competent under normal circumstances, getting charged by a grizzly bear is fucking terrifying, making shots while experiencing an adrenaline dump is not easy.
Anyhow, this concludes my lecture, apologies to everyone who fell asleep.
Isn’t Cuba kinda famous for being on the cutting edge of medicine (at least in some regards) despite stuff like embargoes?
For Russia? IDK, seems a little unusual, they’re not exactly on the cutting edge of medicine. Also, any claim Putin makes should probably be treated with extreme skepticism.
It’s very strange, but pretty good IMO; As long as you’re not squeamish or prude it’s worth a watch.
