I’ve been listening to my Capital audiobook while driving a truck for my job. This book is hard and dense to listen to as an audiobook, especially for me as I tend to daydream. It’s essentially listening to Marx explain his economic theories as mathematical proofs. I’m going to have to read it on paper at some point.

I wonder why there are so many sects from Marx’s work, though. Lenin had the right idea. Marx was bashing on reformists, “trots”, and bougie economists across his work, and a couple hundred years later a lot of people still believe there’s any chance of doing anything short of revolution.

I think I would have figured out the image quickly; I should have took a few seconds to look at the image instead of immediately resorting to an online search. I will have to check the game out some time, looks intriguing. I learned about morphic resonance from my spouse, who iirc told me the originator of the concept, Rupert Sheldrake. There’s been a few other places the idea has appeared in pop culture and in academics according to Wikipedia.

Upon further reading of the Wikipedia section, yeah, I guess that game is one of few media, if any more exist, in popular culture that is inspired by morphic resonance and doesn’t have Sheldrake directly involved in some part. I’ll definitely give that game a look.

Ah man, I did a reverse image search to see what reference you were making, and apparently it’s from an anime video game series called Zero Escape. I haven’t consumed much of any anime content, but this does look interesting. I accidentally saw an image that revealed the answer before I tried to guess. At first, I thought it was a mangled cross in a busted birdcage upon first glance. If I had known this wasn’t some Rorschach test and that there was actually something in the image beyond abstract black shapes, I may have had guessed it correctly within a few minutes. Now we’ll never know, I failed you.

It’s essentially the opposite of an ultra. An ultra oversteps the political consciousness of the masses where a tailist caters to the reactionary elements of the working class. A communist vanguard party needs to lead, elevate, and unite the masses with integrity while keeping in mind of the masses current political consciousness in order to gain their overwhelming support.

Commandism is wrong in any type of work, because in overstepping the level of political consciousness of the masses and violating the principle of voluntary mass action it reflects the disease of impetuosity. I would argue both parties are the same as the left at this point (and always have been). Both are bloodthirsty, corporate, ruling class parties committing horrific acts of austerity and genocide.

I have wanted to make “mirrors” of Marxist websites and port them to different formats and protocols. I will keep this in mind. Sounds like a fun project.

Tbh, I love minimal websites. This could be my nostalgia speaking, though. Nevertheless, small websites means less bandwidth requirements for our comrades with slow internet.

Plus, text-focused websites tend to be higher quality and actually have meaningful content.
