Do we have a lost lemmy users community yet?
I think it was Bleach on adult swim at night as a kid after all the other stuff like robot chicken and aqua teen hunger force ended. Could also be DBZ though
If you rely on extensions when you use GNOME, that’s on you. Vanilla gnome is perfectly fine by itself if you understand the workflow. I only really want, not need, one extension and that’s pano the clipboard manager. Anything else is just extra.
Harry Potter, the movies are at least wizards do wizard stuff even if the world is pretty boring to me. The books on the other hand, are just straight up strange and mean. Reading them as kid they just sucked, I have no clue why they are so popular outside of the movies.
I haven’t so far, but I did the 1tb ssd upgrade so I haven’t had to use microsd very much. From my experience it works the same as steamos if you had done the btrfs file system change.
I run bazzite on my steam deck and gaming pc. It’s honestly just silverblue with gaming specific options, so it’s extremely solid. Coupled with the ability to have the steam deck game mode it beats out all the competition in my eyes. Specifically I would take it over nobara having used both as nobara had some very serious stability issues over time as well as just general package drift. Bazzite has none of that.
What are the G’s? I’ve tried everything I can think of but I can’t find it
I’m not saying I have any problem with it, it’s their work after all. I was just asking a question since I couldn’t find anything that clarified the project’s position. And tbh I would feel very uncomfortable entering their channels, asking if they support flatpak and then leaving. So I figured I would ask on lemmy and leave the information for all who were equally curious.
This is a community project though. They aren’t affiliated with canonical I think as they’re not an official spin.
It’s just there’s a severe lack of communication regarding it. I’ve never seen a single flatpak app mentioned in their videos, posts, or documentation. I’m sure since it’s based on Ubuntu the package exists but it seems like they aren’t on board with flatpak generally. I’ve seen mention of getting snaps and they have an app store but there’s no flatpak support on it.
I don’t mind the terminal but a graphical interface would be much preferred.
I really hope you guys succeed, I plan to make a small donation when I have extra to give.
Resources is pretty good.
I know, this comment was my silly way of saying I like what you’re doing.
My downvotes are to the right 😩, I guess this means I gotta upvote
What are your reasons to use gnome over kde? Most of the things you mentioned are reasons I use gnome over kde so I’m curious to know other perspectives.
Was looking for this in this comment section, I see this solution as becoming the goto for moving between installs even though it is limited right now
