Godspeed, friend.
Godspeed, friend.
With Recall as it is, trying to have anything written privately in Windows is a losing battle.
Exciting times for archaeology.
I remember learning about the Sumerians for the first time, how they seemingly of nowhere sprung up with agriculture, writing, architecture, engineering, astrology, metallurgy. I was fascinated, especially with how prolific they were with their writing, how it detailed their everyday life (all my homies hate Ea-Nassir).
Now we’re uncovering more of our past in the Fertile Crescent, and it’s more interesting than I could ever hope for.
If i saw any animal leaping forward 😃12 meters, I’d shit my pants.
Let’s be naïve and think either approach alone can win this. We need the backing of physical violence to back the right ideas, and we need the right ideas to steer action, or it won’t work.
Everybody is always looking back in time.
To be fair, the resistance being flabbergasted and in the dark at the return of their dead arch nemesis is actually quite reasonable. The return itself also harkens back to the prequels when Palpatine mentions Darth Plagueis.
The reason the Disney era movies are so underwhelming is a lack of soul and other writing blunders.
Sun Microsystems, thank you for your legacy.
It ain’t.
A big chicken with a special farofa stuffing with a family recipe (mine had, besides farofa itself, dried plums, gizzards, chicken liver, and other good stuff that my mother decided would match). The stuffing is cooked inside the chicken as it baked. It’s not uncommon to decorate the chicken with pineapple slices, figs and cherries.
Sides are usually rice “a la greek” (No idea why it’s called that, but it’s regular white rice with carrots, raisins, chives, varying by family), a simple salad (lettuce, tomato, onion).
You could argue the right is more focused on identity politics and for a longer time than the left.
The original meaning of idpol being doing politics as a matter of identity rather than ideas. It’s why you can get MAGAts to agree with you on a lot of stuff and disagree with the GOP, but they’ll still vote red, because their identity is republican.
I don’t hate it. It’s just a massive let down.
Many things taken together: The message is too “in your face”. The comedy is weak. The story not engaging enough, lots of false starts but no follow through.
The acting is good though, and there were some tits. Overall 2/5. Not bad enough to matter, just “meh”. Which is why it confuses me that it enthralled so many people.
Not the last original, but I caught “Her” with my SO in the cinema on a lark, just to pass the time. And we loved every bit of that film. So original in so many ways.
That would be the slogan.
I hate when my Access Control List gets torn.
Hunted to extinction, gotta be.
I thought this was referring to the gifts the United Healthcare CEO got yesterday.

Fuck that.
Edit: I’m not complaining about the the page, it looks nice and polished. It’s the inconsistencies among the GNU tools in handling regex that grind me.
She looks like she’s taking a nap!
The Wikipedia article is also a good read.
