Those color settings in nvidia-settings are only available on X11 which is basically the only reason (apart from the long postponed switch to an AMD GPU) I haven’t switched to Wayland. Though desktop effects in KDE are more fluid under Wayland and frametimes in games maybe a bit better I just can’t live with the washed out colors when gaming.

Do I understand the article and github issue correctly and we can put away the pitchforks already because they fixed the specific part already and it’s now even more performant than GNU coreutils?

I just (I mean an hour ago) gave up on learning japanese via Duo Lingo. On and off for years but didn’t make considerable progress. I know about 20 hiragana symbols and a bit of vocabulary but I think I won’t ever grasp order of words or how they communicate without plurals or genders. It’s so different from germanic languages. I love the japanese culture but I just don’t have the time anymore.

I instead started spanish. After a few lessons Duo Lingo rated me as a super learner. Don’t know if it’s because they want to sell me a subscription but I really flew through the lessons (even when I had to type out the sentences). I’ll stay with it and will add dutch soon.

Come to the dark side. Use the Vivaldi, Luke. We have workspaces, tab groups, grids, universal search in history, bookmarks, tabs, dark mode, themes, google translator interface, note-taking, RSS-Feed-Reader, device-sync, a fricking tracker & ad blocker and even more pretty advanced stuff.

It will drain a bit of force in the form of ram though. Around 600MB for me from the get-go. Got some tabs in some workspaces though. But only the currently open tab should consume resources when Vivaldi is started. So it seems to need that ram by default. CPU wise it does nothing in idle.

The FF and Vivaldi team joining forces would possibly create the Steam version of the browser world.
