6·7 months agoI’ll be that guy that enjoyed The Last Jedi explicitly because it was something different, and leaned into more of the mystical side of the force while on the “big screen.”

I just remembered the hyperspace “weapon” moment, and both how cool it was and how much it could affect the empire. They probably didn’t mean for it, but that you could effectively point and shoot a ship like that was an amazing usage.
Hey cool, so they can stop now right? They did what they destroyed families and killed 10s of thousands of Palestinians for? So they can leave? Help rebuild?
…or plan on doing more settling, that’s the same thing I guess.

I see these comments are nothing but good discussion!
I feel what the author is after, but i wouldn’t argue that “the economy is booming” is a great indicator. People are still struggling day to day to afford basic necessities, and companies are keeping their “inflation” prices in place because for some reason, once they hit a high water mark its just impossible to decrease.
Every Dem should be putting on display every act of violence Trump “joked” about, and be pushing that forward. Pausing campaign ads? Cool, Trump now will dominate the void.

Fair that they don’t have to let them speak necessarily due to it being “private” property, but goddamn you could at least have said “let’s have some music while this gets sorted.” Dude crossed the line from eh to asshole in my book with that one line.
9·2 years ago“Fat trim” is the other one I recently heard, and it’s absolutely the worst one I’ve heard so far. Glad they consider humans working their best as “fat”…
