I’ve always wondered if vegetables from a farm that uses horse-drawn tills instead of tractors would be vegan… It’s a real question, but everyone I ask thinks that I’m trolling.

0·2 years agoI got a “manual” Breville espresso machine (Barista Express), and honestly it’s not that many steps compared to a full auto like my mom’s Jura. I just have to move the portafilter to the grinder, tamp, and put it back into the showerhead. Meanwhile, my mom has to fill up the tank, the coffee hopper and empty the grounds bin every ~5 cups… Not convinced it’s worth 2x the price, and I can actually make better espresso on my machine.

Well something about 200 kms away will take 2 hours to get there on the highway going 100 km/h…
It’s not as neat as 1 mile = 1 minute at 60mph, but it’s still pretty easy to do the mental math.
