This is a great template for so many things
But we have access to wifi … take that 13th century!
It’s slow, a bad connection, the neighbor keeps changing the password … but I can watch Netflix (as long as the neighbour doesn’t figure out I’m on their account)
An evil authoritarian regime that is committing human rights abuses and does not follow democratic norms … but we’ll do billions of dollars worth of trade with them and base a lot of our industries around trading with them. But they’re still evil.

Besides the star of David, how would you symbolize the zionist movement.
If you replace the hammer and sickle for an American flag it makes sense … if you replace the Palestinian flag for a star of David, it makes a lot of sense.

It’s like the chicken or the egg question.
I always saw it as a psychological test … they’re trying to find gullible, pliable individuals who can passably do the work and agree to be paid as little as possible and made to work as much and as often as they can.
A bonus for them would be actually finding people they could literally treat like slaves and not pay them anything.

All of the biggest ones … no corporation should be allowed to amass so much wealth that they could literally control entire countries or regions of the world. The fact that this level of power and control exists means we value money and capital over human life or even more terribly the value of millions of human lives.
