I’ve been using jitsi meet for video calls for years now, that should work just fine.

Mumble has a very small footprint and exceptional voice quality. It’s intended to use while gaming as well.
Blue LEDs are the worst offenders. No need to return it as long as you keep a bit of black tape ready. If you still need it as an indicator, you can use layers of yellowish tape. The one used while painting your walls works great. Masking tape it’s called in English.

I would think it moral to download the discs you own as rips. Get a vpn for a month and download away. This would be a lot less time and electrical energy consuming compared to ripping them yourself. Also somebody else has already dealt with drm bullshit.
I’ve been using docus (izzys fdroid repo) for some time and can recommend it.
Edit: it seems it’s no longer being maintained.
I use Syncthing-fork (fdroid). It lets you set you granular per folder settings like only sync on home WiFi.

Conversions on android keeps a websocket connection open to receive messages. It’s supposed to generate very little overhead in battery consumption. The unified push app on android uses the same technique to provide other apps with pushes. So you could set conversations to be the push provider on your phone and would not need the unified push app any more. This way you would be using the same amount of battery as before.
The conversations xmpp support channel is very helpful if you have further questions: someone there will also very likely know if any apps with unified push support exist.
Ctrl +alt + F1 fixes errors for me after waking up the machine. Might be worth a try.
Cheers, mate.
Audiobookbay is a great place to find audiobooks. Sharing is caring.
Antenna pod is not in any way connected to apple. You use the internal search option to find a podcast or just add onc via url.
I cannot find the custom skip option, can you please give directions?
Yeah I remember it was not that easy to set up, but it’s gotten a lot easier recently. I switched from the native to the docker install last year and was surprised to have it all back up and running in an afternoon…
