Same way we always have - trust. Reputation has always been a thing, there was a brief window where photographic or video evidemce was enough but it didn’t last all that long and tbh it’s always had its flaws.

Yeah tbh I just thought the --json option was pretty neat - I hadn’t known about it until fairly recently
-H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"query": "{ users { name } }"}'? No. Why would you do that when you can just do --json '{"query": "{ users { name } }"}'. Yeah curl is awesome.

A website set up by an unknown Dane
The website, called Fight Chat Control, was set up by Joachim, a 30-year-old software engineer living in Aalborg, Denmark.
Does anyone fucking proof-read anything any more? Or does unknown just mean ‘not famous’ these days? FML.

Y’all’d’ve upset some teachers there
How many women have been to the moon though?

I strongly suspect peak Aristotle would fucking wreck me but when he’s old and rotten? Yeah I reckon I have a chance

Yeah but imagine if he were personally a jerk to you
I mean also I studied philosophy and have had no regrets. It’s awesome and fascinating and rich and appeals to the fact that you just know that the world doesn’t really make sense
Philosophy is genuinely a fantastic subject to study and I have no idea why school curriculums don’t reflect this

Babel fish, you say?
But actually I intended to indicate something more here… Almost all of these will have spoken English and it’s a bit slanted y’know? I’d take Aristotle lol

I don’t speak medieval Italian so sadly he’s off my list
Simply define it as i = e^(iπ/2) 🤣

I would also drop this dude, because he’s pretty fly (for a white guy); https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dexter_Holland
Yeah ok not an educator or a particularly famous name in the sphere, but a PhD don’t come for free

Once your computer’s working to your satisfaction, pretty much all you’ll need to do is alias sudo packman -Syu and try to remember to run that every so often. The arch Linux wiki is second to none, and if you stick with the distro you should find it all feels very familiar in no time.

This is a very very good video. I loved the review of Atlas Shrugged
Ignoring capitalisation you can add as many buffalos as you like and still be parsable. I’ve only ever heard buffalo used as a verb in this one context, though, so seems a bit forced to me
Thanks for the video. Yeah ok actually clankers cavern (no wait that was banjo kazooie, I meant that one with all the sea serpents) was hella laggy, you’ve brought it all back
Is that true about the debug build? I had it on the N64 way back when and don’t remember it being especially laggy. OTOH I was young, and relatively shit at computer games
