It’s not a rolling release though, right? I mean mint is nice, but I am absolutely pleased with my experience using debian testing as daily driver for years while it just stays perfectly up to date and never breaks (as opposed to arch or even manjaro).

The “journalism” about israel/gaza here in germany is a complete shame across the board. German media, even (or especially) the publicly funded media, literally try to hide the discussions that the rest of the world is having about this war. I can’t help you but I just came here to say that I also very much dislike the trend that everything has to look flat. Imho visual, simulated depth (through shadows, gradients, etc.) can make UIs look actually much cleaner, because hierarchy, grouping of elements and differentiation between buttons/text inputs and non-interactive elements is often much more obvious on first sight.
