Make a beeline for the location of a billionaire CEO.
Install solar panels and plant local flowers (drought resistant in drought prone areas).
No sorry, I should have elaborated. The package name is mlocate
but the command is locate
. Occasionally run updatedb
as it populates an sqlite db with every file on your system that you can then list out using locate
followed by the filename you want to locate.
EDIT: Lol. Sorry barely read your reply. Yes, you should wear a fedora while installing mlocate
.
They can be tiny I guess. I can’t really say, I disable like/dislike counts.
Thunder for Lemmy on Android.
Tusky for Mastodon on Android.
I rarely use either Lemmy or Mastodon on desktop. If I do, it’s just through the web client.
I have a script that makes a list of every package and binary into an output file of packages as a list. I can just cat the output of the file in a subshell and pass that off to pacman -S
. Pacman might complain here and there, but I can just edit the list. Then its just cp -r
my config files that I’ve backed up and run my backups for movies, music, pics, games, etc.
And yeah, it’s not perfect, but it’s good enough for me. I still have to do other stuff like switch out bash for zsh, etc. Gotta love bash scripts and backup configs though. That plus actual backups makes restoration from catastrophic failure at least bearable, albeit still time consuming.
Interesting. I know little, but a segfault is indicative of a memory leak. Did you install these using an AUR helper like paru or yay?
I use Artix Linux with runit as my daily driver. I’ll admit, its very nice, but I haven’t run systemd except on my VPSs for years now, so I really don’t know if it’s slow or not as my point of reference is long gone.
First thing to troubleshoot is to try to run the program from the terminal. Usually if it fails, the output can point you in the right direction. At the very least you can post the error on the arch Linux forums or elsewhere and hopefully get a helpful response.
That a blowjob involved the act of physically blowing air on the penis. When I found out it actually involved sucking, I was like, “Oooh…yeah that sounds much more pleasurable.”
I think two figures of Greek mythology that I like and I suspect might resonate with many today are that of Sisyphus and Cassandra. I’ve personally felt like both of these figures many times in my life, and I guess both stories just resonate with me .
I personally dislike Narcissus. Not the story mind you, I just can’t fathom liking the world’s first narcissist.
The fantastic animated show, Pantheon explores that very idea at the very end of its second and final season.
Given a long enough time frame, the vast majority of an immortal life would be spent buried beneath something or floating in the void of space. Think about it, you outlast planets and stars. When those go dark, but you don’t die…nothing to do but float in space.
You might counter that with, "well yeah, but eventually I’d find other sentient life forms and/or people again.” And sure, maybe, but that wouldn’t last as long as you…and then you’re just alone floating in space again, for the vast majority of your life. The only thing to look forward to, since you will outlast everything, is the end of time itself.
Because it’s not a bad thing to ask another person about their experiences in life. And putting it within the context of a particular life choice adds a layer of focus to the conversation.
Given your logic, no one should ever ask anyone else any question about their personal experiences other than to retrieve information.
I use Thunder currently. My first Android Lemmy client was Jerboa, which was fine.
I’ve tried Voyager, and I can’t remember right now why I didn’t stick with it, but I ended up just gravitating towards Thunder. It’s UI strikes the right balance between feature full and minimal imho.
Its not perfect, but you can anonymously browse Instagram using imginn.
There is also proxygram, which is similar to imginn, but if you don’t want to set up your own instance, you can use others via the Libredirect extension.
