This sober reflection on how abysmally stupid it would be to invade Mexico should be obvious. However, here just north of the border in California, even if people aren’t in favor of any military action against Mexico (at least) they will still uncritically parrot the idea that the US is capable of it. The idea of war being anything beyond causing death and destruction is utterly foreign to Americans. Not to mention they don’t seem to recognize that starting a war on your border, which would likely turn into a Guerilla struggle, would very quickly spill into their own borders.

The US population has no idea about the consequences of war when its on or next to your land. I’m scared to know if the US ruling class has become as ignorant as the sheep they’ve led.
