    Hey, as someone who has hated most of social media because of all the negativity, insane stupidity, bigotry and other nonsense, I have come to really like interacting quite frequently on here - through commenting as well as posting - because it is mostly free from all that crap you get elsewhere

      I feel what you were saying; I always felt anxious every time I posted on Instagram or something because I was expecting a certain reaction instead of just sharing to share. Since I realized that I haven’t had many social media accounts, which feels isolating, but I can’t opt out of that negativity without opting out of the platform itself. Reddit was better(ish) because I always stayed anonymous, but it is exhausting to see just reactionary takes in every comment section, even non political ones.
