I never could have predicted this outcome
Hi there!
I never could have predicted this outcome
My parents are absolutely fantastic, they will always listen, do anything possible to help me in any way, and only ever think of what’s best for their kids.
They are calm, considerate, reasonable, smart, loving, and a great team.
I will never meet anybody else as fantastic human beings as them.
I can’t imagine having parents that are awful people, that must be such a terrible burden and impediment to healthy growth for a child :-(
Yeah but they’re gonna rewrite the constitution, it’s gonna be the best constitution the founding fathers will be jealous they didn’t come up with this thing it’s gonna be airtight and on the blockchain
Are Smelloscopes ok?
I don’t use Skype for business, I use it for the video calls and for the ability to have international VOIP numbers that I can ring from/to, and send texts and stuff.
Not sure what service I’ll migrate to once this is gone, I guess I’ll lose my numbers too :-(
I don’t feel comfortable sharing any personal opinions at work. The workplace is somewhere one should arrive, work, go home, not somewhere to share opinions and in doing so make potential enemies or risk your position.
Why do I care if my colleagues know my opinion on X or Y? It changes nothing about my life or theirs, we’re not even friends, just colleagues, or work friends at best.
Anyway yeah, that’s just my thoughts :-)
Who in this day and age wouldn’t drink pasteurised milk?
Besides like, properly stupid people, or people who think it’ll give them religious powers and other such nutters.
Oh my GOSH you did not just say FUCK, on MY internet?
Straight to hell!
Man, what a shitty dig to make about a tragedy of death that just happened.
…Maybe Ho could wait until they’re done clearing the bodies and rubble before using the incident as a platform for his opinions?
I don’t care if he and I share some agreement on cars and their overuse within our cities, that is in incredibly poor taste.
I say mould because I’m English and that’s just how it’s spelled here (we also pronounce it with a U, pronouncing it without the U as mold would be…strange).
Not an overly exciting response I know, but there you go :P
What is it with people trying to make the entirety of October into Halloween?
It’s one single night, it’s not a season. Is this the Americans trying to push it on us to increase our capitalist consumption or something? I see it a LOT these past few years.
What’s next, turning Easter into a month long extravaganza?
Except it’s mostly Americans, and their politics mostly has nothing to do with me. Such is life I suppose.
Don’t forget that your employer doesn’t give you your legally mandated annual leave, it’s one of your basic rights, like sick pay (applies to the UK, and hopefully a lot of other places).
<3
Just out of curiosity, what kind spices you go for? :-)
If it’s added as already opted in, I assume they pop something up to make it clear what’s been added and enabled, and how it affects the user’s privacy, with a link to the settings to change it if desired?
If so, that’s not too bad, no.
If they added it and didn’t make it clear, or worse yet didn’t call attention to it at all, that would piss me off.
Fake bullshit.
Climate change is real and serious, fake nonsense like this just serves to undermine real information about the ongoing disaster that is climate change.
I’m missing something here, because I keep seeing posts like this one that have no content. No images, no videos, not a text post, it’s just the title “What doesn’t kill ya” with no explanation.
I see all other posts elsewhere fine, it seems to just be posts in this one community, or from this one user maybe? I’m not sure.
I’m on Boost if that makes any difference…
That’s not a bad thing, we all come to new things not understanding them at first, especially topics that we don’t get a good grasp on until we’re into adulthood and no longer have a structured education system to guide us. Subjects like politics, economics, sociology etc.
We all come to these daunting subjects with various levels of knowledge and ability, all we can do is try to dip our toes in to a subject that feels important to understand, get reading, watching videos, whatever works best for you, and go from there :-)
I’ve not looked at the news yet, Lemmy was my first stop. I’m thinking… earthquake in the Kremlin?
There’s a lot of really nice architecture there, it’d be a shame for it to be lost in rubble.
That, or we got disqualified from the Euros final xD
This is an Art Attack,
