Edit: I was attempting to point out that the US, especially under Trump, is an unreliable partner and not an entity worth making deals with if one one expects that deal to last or be in one’s benefit. There’s literally no part of comment about Ukraine’s autonomy, dependency, or governance structure (past or present). I am aware of the coupes, and I appreciate the information being shared regardless for those that aren’t.

There are literal troops deployed to our cities, our neighbors are being kidnapped and imprisoned before being shipped off to places they’ve never been, the government is literally rewriting history. The most that’s been done is a big mass protest with zero accompanied action–police got paid overtime and got to play with their toys to stop people from walking on the highways and the city workers had to paint over some “Fuck ICE” graffiti–nothing changed.

ALL our media is propagating the lie that physical damage and disruption is violence and that America has no place for political violence WHILE THERE ARE TROOPS MARCHING OUR STREETS despite the entire history of America being composed almost exclusively of political violence.

When this shit happened in Germany it took a fucking WORLD WAR to clear out for a couple of years, America’s not coming back from this by sitting on their laurels, and nothing will make us stand from our laurels.

The next graffiti in that exact spot better be of those two guarding the cover up.
