While they paint him as the devil the US economy depends on China. Imagine what would happen if any US assassination attempts on Xi were to reach media and China
To play Devil’s Advocate nobody has tried to kill Xi Jinping even once; let alone three times.

I imagine that China’s security forces makes even Cuba’s look like boy scouts.
Cuba can’t retaliate the same way that China can.
Simply put, China has a formidable navy, long-range airforce and most importantly, nukes. Cuba doesn’t.
