Last I checked Venezuela is a sovereign state, so the US law does not apply to a citizen of Venezuela in the first place.
I honestly am curious what legal tricks they are going to pull out because charging another country’s citizen bases on your law is insane
I think the brazenness is the whole point here. This is going to be a kangaroo court with the goal of intimidating other Latin American countries. The message here is that we can just go ahead and abduct you in the middle of the night, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Is trump secretly part of the woke liberal elite? Is he engaging in DEI programs abroad?
If anyones been following trumps legal cases they know how utterly incompetent he is in anything to do with legalism, like Alex Jones level of delusion.
However on the other hand, the ‘Trump is going to get fucked in the courts!’ discourse flying around the internet right now ignores the reality that the US upper class have literally never actually been beholden to the courts and flips the relationship on its head. (as if the puppet started to control its master)
It is idealism which is most often expressed by liberal democrats. Like the discourse around this is the vibe of ‘trump didnt have the legal backing to do this’ rather than just saying what he did was wrong.
It ignores the reality of the US world order, which is might = right. The house always wins.
Its going to be a Kangaroo court, any talks between Maduro and Trump/the military have already happened and they both know the outcome ahead of time.
“Yeah they messed up the legal case, now they’ll never get him”
Jeffery Epstein looking up from hell:
How exactly are charges filed in the USA for USA laws broken by people not loving it residing in the USA? This timeline is dumb.
I love the conspiracy part. Who did he conspire with? His MILITARY?
