President Trump: ‘Because Kim Jong Un happens to be a friend of mine. He likes me. I’m about the only person on the world he likes. It’s gonna be fine, because he likes me and respects me.’

Lmao. A part of me thinks that Trump plays up his “bond” with Kim Jung Un because he’s aware of how much the western media deligitimizes everything he touches, so in and effort to continue the demonization of the DPRK, he speaks of them fondly.
This could be wrong, and he just sees the conflict on the Korean peninsula a prize to win by settling it, but honestly I still don’t entirely understand his commentary kn the subject.
The right wing has spent so long projecting their own horrible shit onto Kim Jong Un that they actually think he is more like them. The only real way to make liberals hate someone more is to describe the thing like it’s Republican. Literally why they hate communism, because they explain it like it’s conservative capitalism. lol
