Statics is good fun. That was one of those courses i spent 40-50hrs a week on.

That knowledge is great for other applications too. For example, it helps with visualizing of how tension laid in fallen trees on saw crews for trail maintenance.

I still use statics at work but i could in theory get by with just basic FEA guess and check.

Unfortunate, i know lots of engineers who never learned math.

I’m more bothered by the hour and minute hands having the same length.

Ah nice! I liked the Lancairs, i got to fly one of them. For working in i think Pipers were my favorite, especially the Malibu. Plenty of space and logical layouts.

I guess working in the engines was nicer in the Cessnas since there was less baffling and no turbo, less places to drop books and nuts.

Arch gave me some issues on install getting steam games to run on my main graphics card but since fixing then it’s been maintenance free. There were some other issues that resolved with system updates, e.g. HDR on Wayland/KDE but Plasma update fixed it almost a year ago.

I’m running AMD/AMD/ASUS RoG.

My windows dual bout however takes 5min for all the bootup apps to launch and explorer is unstable. Probably because of local account and some policies I’ve been locking AI and metrics down with. Also Office clock to run burns my cpu when at idle and it ignores the manual start setting in services as well as startup-apps menu. It’s just there for work.

They haven’t considered rate of slap. Significant heat transfer to environment even at 10 slaps per second.

They’re also assuming sea level standard atmospheric conditions. You may need to reduce rate of slap at altitude.

I have ulnar nerve damage so when i hit ctrl+c/x/v i often don’t quite depress C/X or V fully without thinking about it. So i use drag text quite often.

I’ve only very rarely had drag text misfire unintentionally.
