I give Musk credit for understanding manufacturing very well

    The manufacturing:

God, this article is so much cringier than I thought it would be. It’s basically all “that happened” level content, like, “I told the gay lady to respect me and then everybody cheered.”

Wow look at all these persecuted small business tyrants.

Job: Entrepreneur and owner of a construction company.

Job: Runs a business called Smugglers Runs, which does “postapocalyptic off-road” rallies

Jobs: Frank is a consultant in the health care industry; Diane is a dog mom and former zookeeper

    Job: Small business owner

    Job: Stock trader

    Job: Entrepreneur

Jobs: Shawn sells window coverings; Nannette is a branch manager for a credit union

    Job: Cybertruck wrapper

    LOL

“It’s just a vehicle. So it’s ironic that it would even become a political statement, but nonetheless it is.” [Editor’s note: Taylor was arrested and convicted of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding in the January 6 attack on the Capitol. He was later pardoned by President Trump.

    Hahahahahaha

Anything you don’t like about it?
I can’t really see the front out of the windshield because it’s so long.

Best car I ever owned, can’t see shit out of it.

I don’t have the cringe capacity to read the article, that cover image alone is so cringe-inducing already. What a bunch of posers. “Off-road lighting” which reduces departure angles, road tires, vinyl wrap. Clearly all of this is there just to look cooler in a mall parking lot. Taking a picture on a dirt track which I could take my Prius on (when I still had it) is just cherry on top.

I 100% guarantee my 30-year-old van with cheapo M/T and a slightly cut front bumper, is better at offroading than those pieces of simultaneously over- and under-engineered garbage. And I use it exclusively for off-road and camping, no city driving (except for helping my friends move).

Owning a truck for personal use is stupid and reckless (except for very specific circumstances which apply to like <1% of the population). But a Cybertruck is just so much dumber. It’s like someone took the idea of a truck, stripped it of any potential use-cases it might have had, designed it in the worst way possible, and implemented it with as many reliability and safety issues as possible while keeping plausible deniability.

Lol I don’t do any of that. I just laugh and shake my head. Nothing makes these people’s beans more than just not being taken seriously because of their own choices. Heh I just thought about how much they all paid for a ticking time bomb of failure points just to feel superior and really it just shows lack of understanding and judgement. Made me chuckle again. Dumbasses.

I saw one with a wrap pulling into a Tesla dealer. I had a chuckle at how much they’re dealing with stupid issues
